Life

Ever since I was called as Primary President I feel like my life started spinning out of control! Andrew is constantly getting injured or sick, David got sick and isn't getting better. And I have meetings, meetings, and more meetings. So not much time for blogging.
Tristan's birthday is next week and David and I are so excited. We gave Tristan the option of having a party at Chuck-E-Cheese and nothing else or having a party at home and then on his birthday David will take the day off work and we'll take him to the movies and then out to dinner. He chose movie and dinner. Thank Heavens. He growing up so fast. Last week I bought him some beginning readers thinking we'll work through them slowly and maybe he'll be reading by the end of the year but nope, he picked them up and just started reading! He's not even 5 yet(until Tuesday!!!). I am so proud of this kid. He loves, loves, loves to read. The set has 12 books that get harder as they go and he is already at book 11. He also is getting good at math and can memorize anything by the second time he hears it!
Andrew is not one to be left behind! He is getting so good at writing his letters and he loves to draw. He sees Tristan reading and really wants to be able to read too but he's not quite there. He is such a little charmer and all the older ladies at the grocery store just love his smile!
David is getting ready for his deployment to Honduras and can hardly wait! He found out he'll get to travel some while he is there and he is thrilled. And I am jealous! he did his training on the M4 and M9 (guns) this week and scored an Excellent! Which means he gets a little star to wear on one of his stripes! We are all proud of him. And he gets to put on Senior Airman in November.
Well that's all I have time for now. I have, you guessed it another meeting!

Oh my sweet Susan! I believe you when you say life is just crazy, crazy, crazy! You've got a thousand roles and responsibilities. I'm sure you are doing a wonderful job as primary president! And you are a beautiful mother, wife, and friend. Congratulations to Tristan who is READING and almost 5!!!!

Susan, I'm so sorry that David has to deploy....but I have full faith in your ability to handle it and in Heavenly Father's specific care and knowledge of you and your family! I love your new hair, btw. And I'm so amazed at your brilliant kids, but not surprised!

Where will he be in Honduras and for how long? So glad it's not to the Middle East. I've been to Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and Roatan (pretty sure that last one will only be for vacations - it's awesome). Will you get to visit him?
