Friday: The drive to Reno

On Friday David got off work early and after running a few errands we hit the road around 3pm(only an hour after we wanted to). We got to about Pleasant Grove when we realized I had forgotten the direction to where we were going in Reno....oops. So after we drove back home and got them we were off again. We borrowed my sister-in-laws portable DVD player and it made our lives so much better!!! Tristan and Andrew were asleep within an hour and slept till we were in Wendover. Really the trip was uneventful until the lovely town of Winnemuca. At the gas station we got out for a stretch and a bathroom break. As we were getting back in the car I realized I had lost the cell phone(also borrowed from my sister-in-law). It fell out of my pocket!! We searched for almost an hour but it was getting late and we had to leave. Reno is only a few hours away but it was around 11:30 when we finally got there. It was so great to see Ben and Melissa again and we stayed up a little later talking and catching up, and then we all crashed.
